Spend the next morning seeing the sights in Billings before getting on 1-90 West and heading over to Laurel where you'll find one of Montana's newest breweries, Fat Jack's.
From Laurel, head south on U.S. 212 to Red Lodge, find a motel room, and if you have time, take a hike on one of the outstanding trails heading into the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness on the outskirts of town. Then, visit Sam's Taproom at Red Lodge Ales before dinner at one of many fine restaurants in Red Lodge or if you like pub fare, you can find it in the taproom.
