Day Three: Polson - Glacier Brewing
After a leisurely breakfast and perhaps a visit to the Smokejumper's Visitor Center or the Elk Country Visitor Center, head west on I-90 and then north (right) on U.S. 93 to Polson. You can head straight up U.S 93 to Polson, but you'll probably enjoy the slow, more scenic option a lot more. Turn west (left) at Ravalli on U.S. Highway 200 and make a stop at the National Bison Range. From U.S. 200, turn north (right) on U.S. 212 just before Dixon and go to Moiese where you'll find the entrance to the National Bison Range. After seeing the range, get back on U.S. 212 and head north to Charlo and get back on U.S. 93 at the Ninepipe National Wildlife Refuge.View Lima to Wibaux - Day 3in a larger map
Once back on U.S. 93, head north to Polson. Grab a late lunch, check into a motel and then hunt down the recently expanded taproom at Glacier Brewing for a microbrew or two before dinner. If you like pizza, you can order it right there in the taproom.
