Judith Landing Recreation Area


The Judith Landing Campground is the half way point along the Wild and Scenic Missouri River. The campground is located in a grassy shaded cottonwood grove. Judith Landing is a common take-out point for many boaters coming through the White Cliffs section of the river. It is also a good place to resupply with water, ice and other goods from the General Store. Host is available on site.

Judith Landing Recreation Area is located along Montana Highway 236 between Winifred and Big Sandy, Montana where the PN Bridge crosses the Missouri River. It is 26 miles northwest of Winifred and 44 miles southeast of Big Sandy on Montana Highway 236.
