Located in historic Philipsburg, MT, the Silver Mill offers fine dining in a casual atmosphere. Just 1 hour from Missoula, Helena and Butte, our restaurant is located in the heart of one of Montana's most colorful western mining towns, convenient to hotels, shopping and 1 block from Montana's oldest continually operating theatre built in the 1880's. Our decor is rustic and relaxed with the original (1882) brick walls, hardwood floors and soon to be restored stamped copper ceiling. But don't let that fool you. Our meals are the BEST. Montana John's is known for its tender flavorful steaks; Rib-Eye, New York Strip and Prime Rib. John likes to let his beef age to reach the ultimate in flavor and then cuts them to order. From the wrangler cut to the grand cut, all appetites are quenched at Montana John's. Not in the mood for Montana beef?
