The Biggest Skiing,
the First National Park
and(of course) Steak
|
|
For those of you itching to pack the biggest skiing, America's first national park, and only-in-Montana side-journeys into one epic winter trip, consider the Gallatin Corridor. Land in Bozeman, ski through Big Sky, dip into Yellowstone
National Park via West Yellowstone and return home boasting a goggle tan, a box of microbrews and tales of frosty glory. |

Go West! (Er, Yellowstone) |
|
In
West Yellowstone, there are three distinct attractions --
Rendezvous Nordic Trails, an endless (and world-renowned) snowmobile playground, and of course,
Yellowstone National Park. You can ride a snowcoach out to Yellowstone's Old Faithful, then make a trip-changing choice: continue the adventure on skis or snowshoes, catching highlights like the Norris Geyser Basin or Yellowstone
Falls... or, call it good and snowcoach back to town to grill your own steak to perfection at
Eino's Tavern. |
